I just had to share this clip. I just find it so inspiring that the guy was happy with a 68kg, so wanted to up the weight further. I was happy swinging my 32kg, but now am thinking about that 40kg bell again…thanks Valery for that!

So, here’s my set for going heavy with the next weight up – whatever that weight may be.

Swings: 20 secs work, 10 secs rest, 4 sets (progress this up to 6 and then 8 sets in subsequent workouts)

Lifts: Sumo deadlifts  30 secs work, 10 secs rest, 4 sets/ Upright row 30 secs work, 10 secs rest, 4 sets

Mobility: Slingshots 60 secs work

Cool down with some hand to hand swings with a lighter weight. BOOM!
